PoB Redux
Path of Exile 1 & 2

A modern Path of Building.

PoB Redux is a desktop app that runs Path of Building Community's own calculation engine, so every number matches PoB. Your builds stay where PoB keeps them.

Also for Linux. Also for Windows. PoB Redux runs on Windows and Linux. All releases

What you get

PoB's own numbers

Every tab is here: tree, skills, items, calcs, config, notes, party and builds. The calculations are Path of Building's Lua code, run headless, with PoB's tooltips and breakdowns.

Both games

Pick Path of Exile 1 or 2 on first start and switch any time from the title bar. Each game runs its own Path of Building, and a build from the other game switches the app to it.

Imports

Share codes, PoB XML, GGG's planner files, and links from pobb.in, Maxroll, Mobalytics, poe.ninja, poe2db, poedb, Pastebin and Rentry.

Optimise

Reviews the build and ranks what is wrong, with a fix for each. Designs a rare for any slot from the real mod pool and ranks passive nodes by what they gain per point. No account or key needed.

Assistant

An optional chat panel that answers questions about the open build and can change it. Bring your own key for Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter or Ollama. Keys stay in the operating system's credential store.

MCP server

An optional local server so Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Cursor can read and edit the open build. Off by default, localhost only, and every request needs a token.

Install

Windows

Run the installer. It installs for the current user only and fetches the WebView2 runtime if Windows does not have it.

Linux

Make the AppImage executable and run it, or install the .deb on Debian and Ubuntu. The Linux builds are new and lightly tested.

Your builds

PoB Redux reads and writes Documents/Path of Building (PoE2)/Builds and Documents/Path of Building/Builds, so both apps can open the same files.
